Splurge Magnolia | Chanel Rouge Coco

Ladies, run to your local CHANEL counter, this one is a keeper! I’m all about finding savings on cosmetics, but sometimes a little splurge is worth the investment for an everyday staple. This is The. Perfect. Pink Lipstick!

The advertisement literally stopped me in my tracks one day when I was strolling through the mall with my girls. Besides being remarkebly gorgeous, the model’s lips were the perfect shade of not too pink. I realized I would never be able to bring my little cupcakes to the counter with me since we were at the end of our rope in mall time. When I finally had the chance to go back sans kids at night, they were completely sold out of my precious Magnolia 117!

I tried to pretend I didn’t need it. There were plenty of other lipsticks out there for a fraction of the price. I spent about three weeks buying other shades from drugstore brands and let me tell you, NOTHING has come close to being a good dupe. My latest trip to the mall was a success, I found my Magnolia 117 just as we strolled in so my oldest was happy to just have a little swatch of it on her hand. If you’re on the hunt for a not too pinky, peachy everyday lipcolor you must give this one a try!

CHANEL introduces a modern interpretation of classic creme lip colour as an homage to the rich life and legacy of ‘Coco’ Chanel. New lightweight lip colour glides on for easy application, and features a Hydratendre complex to help soften, soothe and condition lips – even boosting their ability to hold in moisture – for a plumper, smoother and healthier-looking appearance. A range of wearable shades with full-coverage finishes, from matte to pearl to soft shimmer.

I have heard really good things about Chanel lip colours. And this colour sounds pretty fab. Might have to treat myself some time to the beauty counter.

  2. You have made some decent points there. I looked on the net for additional information about the issue and found most people will go along with your views on this site.
